Biggest English Premier League Transfer Rumours

This is the final week of the 2018 January transfer window and there are still lots of rumours flying around. Will your club make a signing in the last seven days? We take a look at every Premier club and rate their biggest rumours. We also suggest an off the wall mystery player for every club, someone that we think is both the right fit and possibly getable.

Arsenal

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang 78% - a good piece of business if they can get it over the line but Arsenal's usual dilly dallying may scupper this deal.

Malcom 22% - the capture of Mhkitaryan means this deal is almost certainly dead in the water.

Mystery Player Gary Cahill - the emergence of Andreas Christensen and the consistent brilliance of Cesar Azpilicueta might just mean Chelsea would let him go. He would be an upgrade on both Johnny Evans and Tarkowski, the other defensive options being considered.

Brighton and Hove Albion

Aleksander Mitrovic 35% - this deals depends whether Brighton can offload Tomer Hemed and convince the player to come, just to many obstacles for it to work.

Moussa Dembele 12% - would have been a great signing but the finances needed just aren't available Dyke Chris Hughton.

Mystery Player Demerai Gray - even on loan, the guaranteed playing time might tempt him to come and he would add pace and trickery to the Seagull's attack.

Bournemouth

Bennick Adobe and Harry Arter - keeping these two is the most important job for Eddie Howe in January, the cost of replacing them in this short time would be too high.

Demerai Gray 24% - despite long term interest this looks increasingly unlikely.

Mystery Player Andros Townsend- would provide the Cherries with a real injection of pace.

Burnley

Aaron Lennon 100% as we went to press this deal was announce, it is a great capture for Sean Dyche.

Harry Arter 32% - unfortunately for the Clarets, Bournemouth want to keep their man.

Mystery Player Danny Ings- could he be tempted to return to his old stomping ground in order to get games under his belt.

Chelsea

Edin Dzeko 84% - Conte is desperate for a proven Premier League striker to help Moratta share the load. Dzeko fits the bill.

Emerson Palmieri - this deal makes more sense than buying Sandro. Palmieri would be prepared to fight for his place and accept a squad place initially and Marcus Alonso has been in fine form, so his chance may take a while to come. Buying Sandro could have caused friction within the camp.

Mystery Player - Wilfred Zaha - if Eden Hazard doesn't perform, Chelsea don't perform. Zara is in the best form of his career and ready for another big move, he would add pace and guile as well as easing the pressure on Hazard.

Crystal Palace

Jaroslav Jach 100% - long term injury to Scott Dann and short term injury to Mamadou Sakho means defensive cover is a priority.

Khoumar Babacar 52% - Roy Hodgson is eager to bolster his attack and this muscular frontman might just be the answer.

Mystery Player Danny Ings - Crystal Palace is another team that could benefit from giving Ings a platform to play and perform on.

Everton

Joe Bryan 56% - the Leighton Baines injury and Cuzco Martino's dire form when covering for him make another left back a priority and the young Championship player has the perfect pedigree to step up.

Emerson Palmieri 4% - this was always a long shot and second choice left back.

Mystery Player Jonjo Shelvey - Rafa Benitez might be willing to let him go and he would be an ideal replacement after a horrific injury ended James McCarthy's season.

Huddersfield

Onel Hernandez 44% - Huddersfield need goals and Hernandez certainly offers attacking enterprise but the quality of his all round game may give Wagner second thoughts.

Samuel Bastien 16% - this ball playing midfielder is unlikely to be chased as Wagner puts his cheque book away.

Mystery Player Danny Ings - wages might be a problem but if Huddersfield could get him, his goals might keep them up.

Leicester

Bound Starr 52% - Leicester want to strengthen their right back options and have had a couple of offers knocked back. However they are unlikely to increase their offer.

Jack Harrison 14% - the England U21 international is attracting a lot of attention but is likely to go elsewhere as Leicester are well covered in this area.

Mystery Man Joe Allen - Allen's clever passing and ball retention would add real quality to he centre of the Foxes midfield.

Liverpool

Thomas Lamar 40% - Although Liverpool have the Coutinho money, they don't want to pay Monaco's asking price. This looks more like a deal to be pursued in the summer.

Riyad Mahrez 18% - the Algerian winger is in terrific form but rumour has it that Klopp just doesn't fancy him.

Mystery Player Gianluigi Donnarumma - the young goalkeeper is having a tough time this season but he is an outstanding young talent and potentially world class.

Manchester City

Fred 92% - the energetic Brazilian would provide competition for Fernandinho and the need for him has become greater since Fabian Delph picked up a niggle.

Aymeric Laporte 94% - a typical Guardiola defender, strong in the tackle and elegant on the ball. Looks a done deal unless he backs out at the last minute as he did a couple of seasons ago.

Mystery Player David Luis- if the Laporte deal doesn't come off. Pep should go for the Chelsea player. Their is a brilliant player lurking inside him but he needs rigorous coaching.

Manchester United

Jean Seri 78% - this deal seems to have gone quiet but would have been perfect given Carrick's retirement and Fellaini's refusal to sign a new deal.

Mates Kovacic 26% - would be a great signing but is looking more like a deal to be pursued in the summer.

Mystery Player Mesut Ozil- United still need more creative quality and of course Mourinho loves to annoy Wenger.

Newcastle United

Islam Slimani 70% - a good buy he needs games, his purchase would need to be offset by player sales.

Andre Schurle 26% - if Rafa could get this over the line it would lift the whole club but persuading him to come may be a stumbling block.

Mystery Player Nathan Redmond - would add much needed pace and trickery to his Newcastle side.

Southampton

Guido Carrillo 88% - the Saints are definitely in need of firepower, and this Monaco player looks to be a done deal.

Quincy Promes 65% - goals and tricks aplenty, a great player if Pellegrino can get this one done. The player would like to come to the Premier League.

Mystery Player Danny Ings - goals almost guaranteed, plus the added satisfaction of finally taking a player from Liverpool rather than the other way round.

Stoke

Davie Selke 64% - this is the striker Stoke need, 9 goals in 16 games this season. Would change their season round.

Danny Ings 32% - another goal scoring option, even if only on loan.

Mystery Player Oumar Niasse - the Everton player may find himself pushed down the pecking order at Everton bust he always looks a threat.

Swansea

Nicolas Gaitan 71% - a player of real quality and looks more and more likely that he will come.

Yohanne Djourou 32% - this looks more like a rehash of an old story and Carvalho attempting to sign him for Sheffield Wednesday. This seems to be a case of 2 plus 2 making 5.

Mystery Player Steven Davis - been left out of the side recently at Southampton, he would add quality and composure to a side fighting relegation.

Tottenham Hotspur

Malcom 36% - this looks very unlikely as Bordeaux don't want to sell.

David Neres 54% - there are some legs in this move, Ajax need the money and Spurs need some attacking width.

Mystery Player Wilfred Zaha - he would add so much to the Spurs team, both Tottenham and the player seem perfect for this move.

Watford

Pontus Dahlberg 92% - the young goalkeeper is a good signing but it's not one for now but could be very shrewd business for the future.

Gregoire Defrel 28% - this seems a strange one, although Watford need goals Defrel is no better than the strikers already at the club.

Mystery Player Danny Ings - this is a no brainier, a hard working, goal scorer would ease Javier Garcia's first few months in the job.

West Bromwich Albion

Andre Schurrle 28% - would be an out of sthis world signing but I would be very surprised if it comes off.

Ali Gabr 80% - this one looks certain to happen, but unfortunately may mean that Johnny Evans will be sold.

Mystery Player - Daniel Sturridge- Pardew should definitely try to muscle in and hijack any deal for the Liverpool front man.

West Ham United

Joao Mario 77% - a loan signing only but with the Hammers injury problems a really important one.

Gerard Delofeu 65% - a player who possesses real quality but it hasn't happened for him consistently. West Ham could give him the perfect platform.

Mystery Player Moussa Dembele - would give West Ham goals and would be eager to come.
