Real Madrid starlet open to the idea of joining Manchester United

Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio is reportedly open to the idea of moving to Manchester United, as he looks to be the reigning youngster.

The young Spaniard has started seven La Liga games so far this season, but feels that he should be getting more game time against top oppositions. Asensio often makes the starting eleven against weaker sides but wants to become a focal player in Champions League games and against Real's biggest rivals in La Liga.

According to Spanish outlet Diarigo Gol, Asensio was wanted by Man United, PSG, Arsenal and Manchester City during the summer transfer window, but turned the Premier League sides down as he saw a future at Santiago Bernabeu.

However, the 21-year-old is now considering his options as he looks to be an integral part for Zinedine Zidane's side, so that he can perform his vast array of talents on the world stage.

The above Spanish source claims that he wants to hold talks with the Los Blancos hierarchy at the end of the season, to discuss his future at the club.

Asensio came through the youth ranks at Mallorca, playing for their B team and then made it to the first before he signed for Real Madrid in 2014.

After spending the 2014/15 and the 2015/15 seasons out of loan, he made 38 appearances for Real Madrid last season, netting scoring 10 goals; he has scored five in 14 appearances so far this season.
