Harry Kane happy to swap shirts with 'role model' Cristiano Ronaldo

Harry Kane isn't sure what Cristiano Ronaldo will do with his shirt after the duo swapped shirts, but the Tottenham striker already has plans for the No. 7 Real Madrid top he received.

"It's a nice shirt to get and frame," Kane told reporters after Tottenham's 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu, according to Matt Barlow of the Daily Mail.

The England international, who was front and centre when Raphael Varane scored an own goal before the Portuguese international brought match level, was full of praise for Ronaldo, whom he idolised as a youngster.

"I asked for his shirt," he said. "He's a big role model of mine, watching him when I was growing up."

He added: "I gave him my shirt. I don't know what he'll do with it. We just said, 'See you in a couple of weeks.'"

Mauricio Pochettino's side has earned plenty of praise since the away draw, which leaves Tottenham in a comfortable position at the midway point of the Champions League group stage. Tottenham currently occupy second place through three matches, trailing group leader Real Madrid on goal differential.
