Chelsea fans react to Pedro’s goal vs Watford

Chelsea didn’t end the first half today against Watford in the way that they wanted having been hold down, but that didn’t stop a Pedro scoring a stunner.

The Spaniard opened the scoring with a brilliant strike from long range to take his scoring record to 24 goals in 93 appearances for the Blues since he joined from Barcelona in 2015.
Aside from Pedro receiving plenty of praise for the goal he scored, others were focus to point out just how important the 30-year-old is in general as he continues to play a crucial role for Antonio Conte‘s side.

From Pedro’s ability to create for others, the Spaniard goalscoring threat and his work rate off the ball, there is so much that he brings to the table, and it’s good to see it appreciated by the fans.

Nevertheless, much of the talk tonight at least will be about the goal he scored, although it won’t mean too much if the Premier League holders can’t take anything from the game.

The Blues boss has seen his team lose back-to-back in the Premier League prior to Saturday, and they can ill-afford a third if they are to have any chance of catching Manchester City who are already nine points ahead at the top of the standings.
