The Telegraph Fantasy Football 2016/17 and provisional player list

The new Premier League season will start on Saturday, August 13, 2016, with the current Premier League giants Leicester City travelling to newly promoted Hull.

The Foxes are not the only ones with a title to defend, as 2015/16 Telegraph Fantasy Football Champion Roy Frost will be back once again having scooped £55,000 in winnings last year with his Telegraph Fantasy Football side, City Aguero.

The coming Telegraph Fantasy Football 2016/17 will be bigger than ever: even the best as tipped by some Fantasy players and it’ll be available later this week, giving fans just three weeks to start thinking about who they want in their teams.

To set up their leagues with their friends and to get themselves involved in our new and improved season-long elite leagues, fantasy football managers will need time to think and plan.

However, there is now a massively improved mobile app and a guaranteed £100k in cash up for grabs this year with £50,000 for the champion and plenty of other leagues to compete in.

The Telegraph have also decided to give you four more transfers to play with improvements that have been made to your key contribution system. Now there is a Premier membership option with incredible benefits to enhance your Telegraph Fantasy Football campaign.

For just £4.99 you'll get three additional teams, full access to all prize funds and game features and a whole host of other benefits. In the meantime, here's the The Telegraph's provisional player list to get you started with.

You have the usual £50m budget and six formations to choose from.
