Bayern Munich in talks to sign Gunners £90,000-a-week superstar

Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny is demanding a new £90,000-a-week contract amidst interest from Bayern Munich as per reports from the Evening Standard.

The report claimed that Koscielny has one year left on his current contract with the Gunners and there have been reports linking the 30-year-old with Bayern as the German outfit look to bring in a replacement for Madhi Benatia (reportedly set to leave after failing to establish himself at Allianz Arena)

Bayern has been a big admirer of the Arsenal star having shown an interest before he penned his last deal with the Gunners back in 2014 and as according to report from German outfits Bild, the Bavarians Technical director Michael Reschke wants to lure him away from Arsenal this summer and bring him to the Allianz Arena.
With FC Bayern interested in the Frenchman, it is dully expected of the Gunners to push ahead with contract extension talks with the centre-back and while discussion have taken place, nothing concrete has been done yet, leaving the Gunners vulnerable to losing the French centre-back.
However, the centre-back know he’s aware there will be difficulty to get regular action at the Allianz Arena as Mats Hummers expected to be Jerome Boateng’s partner next season following his move from Borussia Dortmund.
For that reason, the Evening Standard suggest that Koscienly is likely to remain with the north London club with whom he’s regarded as a vital first team player but demanding a new bumper contract worth £90,000-a-week.
Koscienly has served Arsenal for six years with loyalty and has developed in to one of the best centre-back in Europe since he joined from the Emirates outfit in 2010, so with loyalty the Frenchman has shown us since then, Wenger should be able to do all he can to tile him down to a new deal.
It would be upsetting to lose a player of Koscielny’s quality. I just hope the Gunners can come to an agreement soon with him. He is still reserved as the only best centre-back in the squad and bringing in a new partner is all we should be forward to and not losing him.
