Arsenal linked with Real Madrid youngster

To sign Leroy Sane, Arsenal will have to battle it out with beat Manchester City in bringing him to the Premier League to the German satisfaction.

Reports from the German publication Sport Bild claimed the Sky Blues are ready to pay the £42millon in bringing the forward to England this summer.

The report from the German publication also went on saying there top clubs in the likes of Paris St-Germain, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich will fight the Premier League clubs to sign the Germany international.

Schalke’s new sporting executive, Christian Heidel, has told Sport Bild that the German superstar will not be disturbed while at international duties for Germany at the Euros and instead he should focus on the tournament, but the club will want a swift response upon his return.

He said, “Leroy Sane has to make a fundamental decision regarding his future after the Euro," He added that, "FC Schalke 04 needs a certain planning security."

Heidel who has just been appointed as the new sporting director for Schalke, said the club will not allow a repeat of last summer, when Draxler left the club and moved to Wolfsburg on the final day of the window. 

"There will not be a second Julian Draxler case," Heidel said.

It was reported last month that Man City were at a close point in completing the deal for the winger, and the report from the German outlet said they are are prepared to bid over €50 million.

However, he has also been linked with a switch to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2017, when a €37m release clause can be activated, and Sport Bild says other top clubs, including Chelsea, Barcelona and Arsenal, have also expressed an interest.
