Arsenal lining up lucrative bid for 28-goals superstar

According to reports from the Daily Star, the north London are constantly interested in signing Karim Benzema to the Emirates Stadium this summer as the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger looks to bring in a top class hitman in upgrading his squad over the coming weeks.

The Frenchman is keen on bringing in another forward to Emirates after losing Danny Welbeck and has been forced to turn his gaze to alternative after the England forward Jamie Vardy snubbed the north London advances to stay with the Premier League guarding champions Leicester City.

Reports are suggesting the Gunners are leading the race to sign Alexandre Lacazette but as per Daily Star who cites reports from Spanish outlet El Confidencial claimed Arsenal are still keen on luring Benzema away from Santiago Bernabeu.
Benzema, 28, has long be known to be linked with Arsenal for about six years now - as his name always cropped up with Arsenal during every transfer window - but the reports suggests that a deal with the forward could finally happen if the Real are able to find a replacement.

It seems Madrid could cash-in as long as Zidane is able to land Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. If Madrid were able to sign the Polish international, guaranteed, Arsenal would be able to sign Benzema and finally land their longtime admirer to North London, which will be a sensational signing.
However, the Gunners will have to decide if they want the difficulty of his off-filed clowning around, but his ability can’t be denied. The forward is an excellent striker who with the defensive style of plays in the La Liga still scored 28 goals in 36 appearances for the Los Blancos last season to help the La Liga champions lift the Champions League.
I personally would love to see the Frenchman join the Gunners as he’d be a deadly striker to play ahead of the likes of Granit Xhaka, Alexis Sanchez and with his former team player Mesut Ozil, however, there is still a long way to go before Benzema could be see putting on the famous Gunners Red & White jersey.
