Ings plus cash swapped for Gomis

It was a no-brainier really bringing in Gomis, if I want to stay on top of my local fantasy football league. Danny Ings hasn't played yet for Liverpool, so I can't see him featuring against Man U. Hence, he's been transferred out, thanks to him being as effective as a UK entry to the Eurovision Song Contest: null points and all that!

Ings' Liverpool team-mate Benteke, meanwhile, has been a bit of a disappointment too, so I'm sticking him on bench-warming duties for a bit. I think he might come good, but at Old Trafford it will be difficult to make an impression, let alone score a goal.

Looking at the opposition makes me think that now Rooney's on a crest of a wave as England's new record goal scorer, he'll be on target again against Liverpool. So Roo plays.

This week, I'll probably go for a mainly Arsenal defence, with Cahill and Courtois out for Koscielny and Cech. Surely Arsenal can keep a clean sheet against Stoke at the Emirates. As far as my defence goes, I'm thinking of selling Cahill soon, if he keeps getting frozen out at Chelsea.

Joining the Chelsea boys on the bench will be Milner,as he's just not picking up enough points. As already mentioned, it will be doubly difficult to do that against United.

Most of all, this week, it's about the Swans. Some relatively easy-looking fixtures are coming up for them, so I've got my fingers crossed that Montero and Gomis are on song for the Welsh club. If not, I'll send Tom Jones over to give some singing lessons.
