Kiyotake rules out Aston Villa move

Nurnberg's Hiroshi Kiyotake wants to stay put in Germany, it appears, despite continuing interest from Aston Villa. The 23-year-old Japan international has been a resounding success in the Bundesliga club since signing from Cerezo Osaka last summer and this form may have prompted Villa to bid for him earlier in this transfer window. The bid was rejected, but apparently a second bid is likely. Akthough flattered, Kiyotake doesn't seem ready to up sticks for the Premiership. He said: "I am a player well honoured by transfer options but this [a move to Aston Villa] is definitely something I consider as done. "I am with Nurnberg and I am feeling fine about it. I am focused on Bundesliga action. At this moment in time I am not keen on Premiership football," he added.
