Late Takahagi goal shakes up top spots in J1

Yojiro Takahagi struck late for Sanfrecce Hiroshima against Cerezo Osaka to move the reigning champions up to second in J1, just 3 points behind Omiya Ardija (who tripped up 2-1 away at Yokohama F. Marinos. Urawa Reds, meanwhile, slipped down to 3rd, following a 4-0 thumping at Kawasaki Frontale. Perhaps the title-chasers had the prestigious friendly with Arsenal on their minds (bearing in mind the Saitama Cup is at stake!), but the same could not be said for Nagoya Grampus (who are also taking on the Gunners) as they emerged victorious from their 5-goal encounter with another relegation-threatened side, Sagan Tosu.
