Roasso get a rough ride in Kitakyushu

Aside from Japan losing 3-0 in the Confederates Cup to Brazil, the biggest result on Saturday was Roasso Kumamoto getting roughed up 7-0 at Giravanz Kitakyushu. That's really given the relegation-threatened club's goal difference a shot in the arm, but Roasso will probably bounce back at home to rock-bottom ThespaKusatsu next time out.

Other than that, it's as you were in J2. All the top four teams won, except for Vissel Kobe, who could only draw away at fifth-placed Tochigi. Keijiro Ogawa scored twice for the visitors to make them look odds on to win, but Cristiano's last-gasp strike rescued a point for the hosts.
