Jordan Henderson believes Liverpool can still make top-four finish

Jordan Henderson believes Liverpool are still in with a shout for the top-four.

The Reds are currently in eighth position in the Premier League, some 10 points behind Chelsea. This would make UEFA Champions League qualification somewhat improbable, considering there are now just 11 matches remaining in the campaign.

Despite this, Henderson insists he and his team-mates will not give up the fight. Speaking ahead of the short trip to Wigan Athletic on Saturday evening, the former Sunderland man believes he and his team-mates have the quality for a top-four finish.

"We've got 11 games left and want to succeed in those games. We've done well of late - I think we've been playing some good stuff - we're still improving,” he told the official club website. "(To qualify for the Champions League) would be a massive achievement. We'll give it our best shot. We know it will be difficult but we still believe we can do it.”
