Stramaccioni willing to welcome Sneijder back into Internazionale fold

Wesley Sneijder could yet have a future at Internazionale.

The future of the Holland international has been of much debate in recent weeks, due to a dispute over a new contract. Sneijder has been offered an extension to his existing deal, which runs until 2015, but by accepting he would have to take a pay cut.

Understandably, the playmaker has been reluctant to agree to such terms, and as a result, he has been left out of the first team plans. However, Stramaccioni has now revealed he is prepared to include the 28-year-old when the Serie A season resumes.

“I'm sure I will change my mind - the shirt is ready for him,” Stramaccioni said of Sneijder, who has been linked with the two Manchester clubs as well as Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, although the latter have distanced themselves from such speculation.
