Bendtner can’t rule out shock Tottenham Hotspur move

Nicklas Bendtner wouldn’t rule out a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish international has been in London since joining Arsenal’s youth setup in 2005, and he has gone on to make 99 appearances for the Gunners. However, he has been on the outside since the start of last season, when he was loaned to Sunderland.

Bendtner returned to the Emirates Stadium in the summer, but he was then shipped off to Italy to spend the campaign at Juventus. The 24-year-old now looks certain to leave the club on a permanent basis, most probably at the end of the season.

A number of clubs have already been linked with the striker, including Tottenham. And whilst such a move would cause controversy in North London, the player admits he would have no qualms about considering a switch to White Hart Lane.

"History is filled with examples of players moving between rival clubs and I can't rule out clubs due to where I might have been in the past," Bendtner told bold.dk. "It might not be the best idea but if the project matches my ambitions I would have to be interested.

"I still have a great relationship with London, which is a city that I adore. I have a lot of friends in London and there are a lot of great clubs in London, so I wouldn't rule out a return."
