Bendtner in a sweat over his dream move to the Rossoneri

Nicklas Bendtner’s dream move to Milan could be off.

The Denmark international is out of favour at Arsenal, and spent last season on loan at Sunderland. Martin O’Neill has decided against taking him on a permanent basis, and the player is now keen to secure a move to one of Europe’s giant clubs.

Milan had previously shown an interest in Bendtner, who impressed for his country at Euro 2012, and such a move would be a dream for the 24-year-old. However, the Rossoneri have now suggested that are no longer in the market for attacking reinforcements.

“We already have many forwards,” said chief executive Adriano Galliani, who is close to agreeing a deal to bring Roma hitman Bojan Krkic to the San Siro.

These comments would also appear to rule out a move for Liverpool’s Andy Carroll, who has also been heavily linked with the Italian giants. As for Bendtner, it looks increasingly likely that he may have to lower his expectations to find a new club ahead of Friday’s deadline.
